GRANDMA’s BUTTONS

I can hardly wait to get there,

To Grandma’s house, you know.

There’s so many fascinating things,

I can hardly wait to go,.



I’ll walk past shelves of shakers,

The birdcage hanging high,

Past the dish of candy

(With just a little sigh.)



Back to her storage closet

Where I’ll undo the lock-

And finally find my favorite thing,

My grandma’s button box.
